Why go to church? For the music? For the show?
The number one reason to go to church is God. We go to know Him, to worship Him, to hear from Him, to be assured of His favor, to be reminded of what is true and good. We sing, of course, and once every three weeks the pastor may make us laugh, but God is the reason we go.
If you are looking for a church where the worship service is not a show, come visit us. We have no soloists, no band, no video clips, no dancers, no little plays. We come to worship God in Spirit and in truth. We come to abide in the Son and in the Father. We know that we will come to know Him better when we listen to Him, so our service centers on His Word: we read it, we hear it preached, we even sing it. And we speak to Him in prayer.
So if you seek a simple service that centers on God without distractions, come visit us.
